Would it be possible for ground sloths to evolve from plant eating into meat eaters like these?

The description shows just how much better you've gotten at english, and a world with carnivorous armored ground sloths is a world I don't wanna live in.

So are you making a "realistic" LOTR?

Nope, not me,this is just a little fan art, I'm not so much in high-fantasy.

love all your stuff, specially the dragons and these trolls. Reading zinnorokkrah's description of elves is intriguing, have you thought of giving them a try?

Wow, these are fascinating creatures! I am planning a SF campaign that uses late Cenezoic megafauna not too unlike these creatures. They are very interesting, and an inspiration for me.

It'd be cool if there was an aquatic troll that lived in ponds and such.

Do you never get tired of surprising me? hahaha
The first time you draw the nordic dragon, my first thought was how would you depict trolls, orcs and wargs... now I see it! What would be your orc/goblin theory? Maybe an overgrown Gibbon? A weird evolution for the naked mole rat? (because of the underground collonies...)
Anyway, what an amazing interpretation for the trolls! Very good!
My only changes woulg be shorther, more naked noses and shorter tails!

Well, this are not my trolls, I would really like to adopt the concept but because ground sloths never take a step on european ground it becomes impossible. I had ideas for european trolls in the past, but they are all very unlikely (inter alia I depict biped turtles with nose-like beaks, and big baboons). Today I lead back most tales about anthropomorphic creatures like trolls to humans, bears and lesser shapeshifters.

Trolle muss man einfach lieben, haha. GroΓartige Farbgebung, vor allem beim kleineren. Wirken sehr glaubhaft. Das einzige, was mich ein bisschen stΓΆrt, sind die sichtbaren Rippen. Ansonsten, wieder thumbs up for that!
lg,
Fabrizio
