Description

October Smash Bros Moveset #6: TOON GANONDORF THREATENS THE BATTLEFIELD!

Name: Toon Ganondorf

Universe: The Legend of Zelda

Entrance: Ganondorf emerges from a dark portal of magic and summons his twin swords.

Specials-------------------------------------

B- Phantom Volley- Ganondorf levitates slightly off the ground while extending his hand skyward. Within his hand a blue orb of electric blue energy forms, releasing B will cause Ganondorf to toss the energy orb forward in a straight line. The longer you hold B the larger the orb will be and the more DMG it will deal. If the orb makes contact with an opponent it will momentarily paralyze them (just like Zero Suit Samus’ stun laser) before dealing knockback. The knockback dealt isn’t very much, but the paralyzing effect allows Ganondorf to follow up with an attack while they are stunned. Along with that you can deflect the projectile back towards Ganondorf by attacking it at just the right moment, just like in Wind Waker. Whenever the orb is hit it will travel back in the opposite direction. Each time it is hit the orb will pick up speed and deal slightly more DMG and knockback. Anyone can hit the orb, but the orb can also deal DMG to Ganondorf if he doesn’t hit it back at the right moment. The longer the orb is volleyed back and forth the more DMG it will deal, possibly even KO’ing opponents with extremely low DMG if it is volleyed enough.

Side B- Gerudo Puppet- A chargeable move, Ganondorf extends his hand forward creating a shadowy vortex/portal in his hand. Once releasing side B, Ganondorf will send forward the snake version of Puppet Ganondorf forward. The snake is about the height of Olimar and travels forward quickly. Charging the attack works just like Zelda’s down special phantom summon. Once releasing the puppet snake, it will lunge/slither forward quickly in an attempt to attach to an opponent. If the puppet makes contact with an opponent it will latch itself around the opponent like a boa constrictor. This will not only deal DMG to the opponent but also momentarily keep them stuck in place which allows Ganondorf to use a follow up attack. Opponents can break out of the puppet’s grasp my rapidly pressing attack buttons. The longer the move is charged the further the snake will travel, and the higher an opponent’s DMG the harder it will be to escape the snake’s clutches.

Up B- Gerudo Ascent- Ganondorf extends his arms far sideways with both swords facing outward as he ascends upward while performing a spin attack with his swords. The recovery gains slightly more air than regular Ganondorf’s recovery and can string opponents along for additional DMG.

Down B- Phantom Counter- Ganondorf enters a sword blocking animation just like in his boss battle in Wind Waker as he prepares a counter attack. If an opponent makes contact with Ganondorf as he is blocking, Ganondorf summons Phantom Ganon beside him who delivers three quick and powerful slashing attacks with its mighty sword.

Final Smash- Helmaroc King- Ganondorf disappears in a portal of dark energy as he summons the mighty Helmaroc King who appears where Ganondorf was standing. The Helmaroc King lets out a mighty roar as it flaps its wings violently before rushing forward with insane power and speed. The final smash works just like regular Ganondorf’s final smash, however instead of burring opponents who are close the Helmaroc King’s mighty wing flapping will push opponents who are in front of it forward slightly just like the gust bellow item which leaves them even more open to the Helmaroc King’s attack. After rushing forward and off stage, Ganondorf emerges from a dark portal and resumes the fight.

Sunken Hyrule- The sinking Hyrule that is the location of Ganondorf’s last stand is his home stage in Smash Bros. The setup of the stage is one long flat platform with castle extending down past the screen, pits on both sides of the castle platform, and in the background, you can see cascades of water which are sinking the Hyrule Castle to the bottom of the sea. Occasionally large cascades of water will descend from up high either into the center of the stage or into both of the pits. Opponents who touch the water going into the pits will immediately get caught in the current and have a high chance of being KO’ed as the water pushes them downward. Opponents caught in the middle stage cascade will receive DMG and be pushes down with the rushing waters onto the stage. When cascading water is hitting the main stage the entire platform will also become slippery and act similar to the ice-themed stages platforms.
