Next up for the Month of January, the month of revisiting old movesets...
**TRACER BLINKS INTO BATTLE!!**
Name: Tracer
Universe: Overwatch
Entrance: Tracer is seen using her blink ability to zip onto the battlefield, after landing she does a fist pump, twirls her pistols, and gets ready for battle!
Specials------------------------------
B- Pulse Pistols- Tracer fires a short range to medium range blast of shots from her pulse pistols, four shots from each pistol! The DMG will be higher if the opponent is closer to Tracer when they are hit (1%-3% per shot depending on how close you are. The shots don’t deal high DMG, but they do cause opponents to flinch and can be good to rack up DMG here and there as you zip around the battlefield. After firing the 8 shots (once starting the move you cannot move until Tracer has fired them all) she will flip her pistols to reload them and they can now be used again.
Side B- Blink Dash- Tracer zips horizontally forward a short distance (slightly further than Fox’s side B) in the blink of an eye, leaving behind a trail of blue energy behind her from her chronal accelerator! This leap causes Tracer to move forward with extreme speed, along with dealing minor DMG and pushback to opponents in her way. She can also avoid ranged attacks in this fashion but can be hit by melee attacks if they are timed right. You can use the Blink Dash three times in a row before her chronal accelerator shorts out, where it will have to wait 10 seconds before recharging, so be careful not to use this ability too much or you may find yourself unable to make a recovery! If you wait 2 seconds between at least one of the blinks, then you can avoid the cooldown time! These Blinks also stack up with her up recovery, so keep this in mind. Above her health bar are three arrows that signify her blink charges, so you can keep track of how many you have used there as well!
Up B- Blink Leap- Tracer zips upward at a diagonal angle quickly to recover! The distance she blinks is about the same distance as Wolf’s side special goes, so because it is a short distance, you can press B multiple times to cover more ground! Just like the Blink Dash, be careful not to short out the chronal accelerator, or you will have to wait for the cooldown and will be left in freefall! This move can also be combined with the side special Blink. Above her health bar are three arrows that signify her blink charges, so you can keep track of how many you have used there as well!
Down B- Recall- Tracer’s signature move in Overwatch is her down special and her main mechanic gimmick in Smash, her recall ability! After pressing down B, Tracer becomes corporeal and reverses quickly to the exact spot she was in exactly 3 seconds before the move was initialized! This means that she is transported back from wherever she was AND her health reverts back to whatever it was 3 seconds prior! This is an amazing ability because a lot can happen in 3 seconds in Smash! So it reverts DMG and any status effects she has, but also if she has picked up an item in those three seconds it will drop wherever she was when using the move. The obvious benefits of this move are you can recover from taking a massive hit like a hammer, smash attack, or even final smashes! You also can get yourself out of hairy situations, avoid incoming attacks, and maneuver effectively around the battlefield. The flip side of it however is that there are a handful of disadvantages to balance the move out. First of all, it is very telegraphed so a watchful player or opponent could see the move a mile away and adapt accordingly. If you healed in those three seconds, you also go back to what your health was three seconds ago so you would technically gain DMG. If you were over a pit or launched three seconds prior, you go back to where you were so if you aren’t careful you may shoot yourself in the foot and put yourself in a worse scenario. It is a risk and reward move that if used right can mean the difference between defeat and victory, but if used willy-nilly will put you in a nasty spot to get punished. The chronal accelerator (bright blue symbol) on her chest will turn off when it is unable to be used and will light back up when you are ready to use it again! There is a 15 second cooldown between uses.
Final Smash- Overwatch Onslaught- Tracer tosses a pulse bomb forward in an arc which explodes in a mighty blue energy explosion! Opponents caught in this explosion are transported into a cinematic where Tracer summons her fellow comrades from Overwatch, who join up for a group attack against the opponents! The Overwatch members are the ones highlighted in the Overwatch 2 announcement trailer. This includes; Winston, Bridgette, Genji, Echo, Mercy, Reinhardt, and Mei. The group of heroes bombard the opponents with ranged and melee attacks before they disperse and Tracer blinks high into the air. She shouts, “Cheers!” and tosses one final pulse bomb at the opponents which detonates and sends them flying with high DMG and knockback!
Standard Moves---------------------------------------------
Neutral A- Tracer punches forward with the butt of her pulse pistol, follows up with a butt from the other pistol, and finishes off the three-hit attack with a cheerful roundhouse kick! Tracer also is flashy and if she lands hits she will spin her pistols on her fingers to celebrate as she goes back to her standard pose.
A Left/Right- Tracer swipes horizontally through the air with both pistols, spinning them rapidly as she does.
A Dash- Tracer uses a boost of speed from her Blink ability and shoulder checks forward. NOTE: This WILL NOT use up any of her blink charges.
A Up- Tracer tosses her pistol skyward as it spins rapidly.
A Down- Tracer performs a low to the ground sweeping kick.
Smash Left/Right- Tracer performs a short range (much shorter range then her standard special) but very powerful multi-blast shot with her pulse pistols forward!
Smash Up- Tracer charges up low to the ground before performing a fast and strong backflip attack upwards.
Smash Down- Tracer performs the splits to kick on both directions of herself quickly.
Aerial Neutral- Tracer performs a double kick spinning attack.
Aerial Forward- Tracer kicks forward! If she hits an opponent, she kicks herself back a little bit.
Aerial Backward- Tracer turns around and curls her legs towards her stomach before kicking them both outward with brutal force.
Aerial Up- Tracer laughs and swipes her pistols in opposite directions upwards.
Aerial Down- Tracer lifts a leg high and brings it forcefully kicking down. This move is slow but can spike opponents!

From the screen a futuristic hairpin target appears on the screen as Widowmaker takes aim at her opponents! Widowmaker will attempt to line up the target with an opponent and as soon as she has someone in her line of site, she unleashes a powerful sniper shot that can deal heavy DMG and knockback to those unlucky enough to be in her line of sight! She fires 6 shots before ending her assist trophy attack.

Stage---------------------------------------
King’s Row: The iconic King’s Row map from Overwatch appears as Tracer’s home stage! This stage is a fairly long/large stage that is reminiscent of Onnett and the first part of the Garreg Mach Monastery, where it is a flat stage with some buildings on each side that you can leap onto to gain high ground. In the background, the fortress-like background is rich with details and you can occasionally see heroes and villains of Overwatch battling in the background! This can include every hero and villain from Overwatch as you see them leaping around rooftops and firing at eachother, soaring through the air, and running around in the background. King’s Row has one main hazard though that is an optional risk and reward hazard, and that is a Payload! A large EMP Bomb Payload will hover into the middle of the stage after a short while and will remain in the middle of the stage for about 30 seconds before driving off quickly (while driving off it cannot take anymore DMG). The payload gives you one of two options; protect it or destroy it! If you choose to protect it and the payload stays intact for 30 seconds, whoever dealt the least DMG to the payload will gain a stock in stock battles and a KO point in standard fights! This also can mean multiple people can win and get points if those players/opponents do not touch or attack the payload. The other option however is to attack and attempt to destroy the payload, if you attack the payload enough and deliver enough DMG to KO it (like the Yellow Devil) the fighter who delivered the finishing blow will be immune as the EMP Bomb explodes in a large violent and deadly explosion! So you decide, do you protect the payload to get additional points OR do you try to destroy it to hopefully KO other opponents?
