"Look there he goes! Isn't he dreamy?"These are the...and this term is straight out of the movie credits...bimbettes from Beauty and the Beast!
I LOVE these characters...I wanted to look just like them when I was little. Says alot for me I guess, but whatever! When I was like 5 those were the prettiest dresses I could imagine. Lawl. I mean just look at those ridiculously oversized bows!
So I've wanted to draw them for many a year now, and I finally did
I hope you like them! Any and all critiques and comments are GREATLY appreciated!!

I wonder if Gaston was doing his way around the village and Belle happened to be the last girl he didn't "triumph". So he became obsessed with her because she's a challenge.

Yeah, I'd have to reason they were, physically at least, more beautiful than Belle, which made Gaston's motives for marrying her nonsensical anyways, as well as the villagers' viewing her as being the most beautiful. I mean, the characters from Dead or Alive matched the triplets' bodytype more than Belle did, and only two of those characters are actual blondes, three if we count Sarah from Virtua Fighter. Same with Love Hina, and Tifa Lockhart from FFVII, and Barbie from... well, Barbie, and May from Pokémon, and Lara Croft from Tomb Raider and Maron/Bulma from DBZ, and the like (had they not been beautiful by design, especially with DOA and Love Hina, they wouldn't have even sold half as well). Probably the only exceptions to those rules are Snow White, Brooke Anne Smith, and Ariel (Misty doesn't count as she's just a kid who hadn't even hit puberty yet).
And come to think of it, they may have been more internally beautiful than Belle was as well, based on the fact that, from the little we did see of them, they were effectively selfless (since, after all, their shocked and angered reaction towards Belle refusing Gaston implied that they thought she should go for Gaston even if it meant they didn't get a shot at him as a result, and they'd know that especially given their crying up the perfect storm when Gaston was revealed to be the groom.), valued Belle as a friend (they had to if they attended both of Belle's weddings, even setting up the failed one with Gaston, all without knowing Gaston would be the groom, and keep in mind that this is saying something when Belle is implied to be a pariah in the village), and heck, even being more forgiving than Belle (considering they still gave comfort to Gaston despite his backstabbing them by not informing them that he was the groom to the failed wedding between Belle and Gaston, and their accepting the invitation to Belle and Adam's wedding despite Belle and Adam technically being responsible for Gaston's death). Plus, considering they helped set up what was pretty blatantly a Catholic wedding, chances are they are most likely Catholics as well, so very little, if any chances of them pushing anti-Christian rhetoric, either. Speaking as someone who actually was victimized by anti-Christian propaganda in College and possibly my entire educational career, as well as at least one teacher bashing us heterosexual males, them not being anti-Christian or, as shown by their devotion to Gaston and their lovestruck nature with Lumiere and Adam after Gaston's death, anti-male is definitely a very welcome relief.

Yeah. The fact that all three did genuinely love Gaston (had to if they crushed on him since they were kids) should have been a big hint that, at the very least Gaston should go with one of them instead of Belle (and since polygamy isn't allowed at that time, most likely he does have to choose one).
They are likely literate in at least the bible, though. Going by their presence and role in the wedding, they most likely are Catholics, meaning they had to have read the bible, if not on their own spare time, certainly during mass.
I got the suspicion that, due to Gaston obsessing with Belle over them, they never actually did get "violated" by him at all.

I'm doubtful of their already being married, never mind hating their husbands. Normally, if they were married, they'd not only carry a wedding ring, but they'd cover their heads in public. More likely than not, they're unmarried, and based on their interactions with Gaston and the rest of the male villagers (being ignored, and ignoring, respectively), they definitely couldn't have had any sexual relations, meaning they had to be virgins.
