     This is a mere opinion text about how many adults consider Metal,Heavy Metal or any other Heavy type music to be evil and related to the devil.
  I'm sure many of you have heard at least one person agree with this,and I came to realize that,well yes,maybe some bands write songs partially or entirely related with evil stuff,but It's not right to judge Rock and Heavy Metal because of those bands,not everyone is highly influenced by the music they listen to,nor they should,since your tastes should never define who you are.

  Now take Slipknot for example. They're pretty heavy,they're one of my favorite bands. Now,the lyrics of their songs and the way they dress (specially the home-made masks) are often considered very violent and thus parents react in a very negative way when they know their son/daughter enjoys listening to Slipknot. Now,I realized that most of these Heavy bands didn't choose to create these types of songs to worship a dark entity or anything evil,it's merely a way to let out their feelings,not everyone is the same. Some fortunate fellows grow up in a kind neighborhood and have a normal teenager life. If those kind of people become part of a band their type of songs will probably be more less like Jason Mraz or The Jonas Brothers,who knows,I think It's likely to be that way. Now Metallica for example,the members of Metallica probably grew up in an environment where they could listen to Metal music often. Or maybe their parents listened to Metal often. Anyway my point is,the type of music you sing depends on your personality,which can partially depend on what you go through on your life.

Back to Slipknot,if someone says the people who like them are crazy then that person is calling crazy to millions of fans,millions of people..

I get to the conclusion that It's most likely a matter of generations,the previous generation will hardly accept or understand the tastes and lifestyle of the next generation,maybe a new type of music will be created when we have kids,where the vocalists sing like girls and have gay lyrics,and we'll hate that our children listen to it
