Since I'm a bad stalker, I'm going to try to critique the hell outta this. >D

Ok.
First impression -
Awesome. I saw the thumbnail, and it looked great. The fire in the background and the wolf with the flag looked excellent. Only complaint about this part is that it's a tad bit dark when you look at it - I prefer darker pieces actually, since my monitor is LCD and high-contrast, so it looks fine on mine, but maybe not on an older computer.
Background -
Fan-fucking-tastic. Like, not even kidding - it's great. Your links don't work so IDK if the fire was added in or not. It looks phenominally real, so if it is added, then it looks great. If that's the way it came, then fine, you still did great with the curves and making the sky darker. No critiques except for in the bottom right corner, there's a blue patch of smoke that looks a little out of place, and the grass in front of it looks choppy.
Wolf -
I like it. :'D Very nice stock and the pose is great. Perhaps moving or orienting the jaw or darkening the gumline to give it a more opened look for the flag would help integrate it a bit more. I like the smudging, but on the ankles and left ear it gets a bit too long to be natural. Also, perhaps some extra lighting 'cause of the fire? ( God, if you look at my piece, bodies burning, I totally FAIL at the lighting on it from the fire. So I reall shouldn't be talking BUT still. xDDD ) It looks fine as is and isn't anything dramatic, I just stared at it for five minutes like a good stalker should.
Other -
There's like this dot of smoke or ash or something right above the wolf's head. Bothered me a little. xDDD The armor and feathers could also be textured a bit more to the sharpness of the wolf, and perhaps adding some cracks on the headplate, and chunks of fur going over the feathers would help. But it's actually integrated very well! ( There's a reason I don't add stuff to my wolves... xD )
Overall -
It's great. You've improved a lot and it's a really great piece. Keep up the good work on overall image, background, and the wolf. Only thing to keep in mind would be smudging on the ankles and making sure everything stays the same sharpness. (:

Have I ever mentioned how much I love you? This is fantaastic! I love the blue smudges around her eyes especially, and the flag fits in perfectly. Good job, kavv!
