i compresses in Zip Only if the web sites doesn't support it
you can use 7-Zip or WinZip to open it
if you still have problem i will send you the file in zip

Compress in Zip - Rar is a proprietary not open standard restricted to Windows. Just replace the downloadable files with the compression type and reply - I'll check from macOS and this would be true for everyone in the future.
