FULL VIEW PLEASE!

as you can see, i had no luck thinking of a decent title. *sigh* aside from that, i'm amazed that i spent another five hours straight working fanart. i never do fanart, and i certainly never spend so much time working on my art at once. ah, the joys of having no homework for the weekend.

unlike jak's headshot, keira proved quite difficult. her eyes were actually too small in the original lineart, which i only really realized after i finished coloring the picture. as such, i spent an extra hour-and-a-half or so making her eyes bigger, recoloring them, and trying to decide if i should leave both open or make one winking. obviously i went with the latter, cause i couldn't seem to keep her from looking slightly cross-eyed with both open. i'm still not a tremendous fan of her face, but i'm very happy with the way her hair came out.

i inserted the little jak doll largely because i'm a huge fan of the JxK pairing, another thing that greatly pissed me off about jak 3. keira was basically a non-entity in that game, had a new voice actress, and then that little thing with ashelin at the end. it's so wrong! however, i've heard it all gets back to where it should be in jak x, so i need to play that.
