Yay, my first submission in forever!

This is a very personal piece for me. Some of you who have been watching me for years may recall a picture I did back in late 2006 "What I Want" . It was born of my earnest desire for a loving partner when I was exceptionally lonely. Last August, I found him, but he has been so much more than I ever dreamed. He is not only my lover, but my best friend. He is what I always wanted, what I have. I love you, Danny!

Sappy dedication aside, given my romantic streak I thought the archetypal imagery of a knight and lady were quite appropriate. The stained glass was fun to do, and I spent a lot of time looking at google images to get the wiring right, especially Rudolph I . I've considered redoing the chain mail since it looks so messy, but I'll leave it for now. All in all, I love how this came out!
