very cool! Who knew terragen could do this?! Apparently its a program for landscapes, so this is a bit of a departure...?! definitely the best digital image ive seen on dA today.

I tried making nebulae in Terragen and only got one half-way decent image out of about twenty renders. I think it's been moved to scraps now.

I think that I will check out that tutorial soon.

yeah, the tutorial gives you a render that looks a LOT different to this, i fiddled around with a lot of it. Mainly camera orientation, sun position, atmosphere colours, etc etc
but, you can get some sick as effects from it! just look at Mark's one he did...im still none the wiser as to how he pulled that off

Hmm, I'll definitely have to check out that tutorial - right after I finish with my drawing projects, the two (wait, no, three) writing projects I'm currently involved with and scripting in Apophysis.

Yeah, but it's all self-imposed. I'm not happy unless I'm doing twenty things at one time. One of the thing's I really hate about college is that I can't do any extra stuff because I'm always so bogged down with class work. I think that's why I'm trying to do all this crap since I know there won't be time in a couple of months.
