I say that's her brother, he just looks to young to me to be a dad. Like around Shining Armor or Big Mac's age...so it could be her dad...but I'll just assume it's her brother.

Well, if you consider the fact that 'The Cutie Mark Chronicles' showed us that the Mane Six are all fairly close in age (all were fillies who got their cutie marks at the same time), then that gives us a constant variable. From there, look at Shining Armor back when Twilight was a filly: [link]
He looks like an actual young teenager.
Meanwhile, around that same time period, you have Dash's flashback; this person looks older than Shining Armor did, like most of the other adult stallions trotting around Ponyville. Meaning, this colt is clearly far older than Shining Armor.
Far more likely to be Rainbow's dad :3

rainbow dash's relative just couldve simply have been older than shining armor was.
what are the chances them being born at the same exact time, and having the same exact age, right?

Age is a very finicky thing in the pony world. Notice how Twilight's parents didn't age at all during Shining Armor's wedding.

Father is not the obvious conclusion, and it can go either way. It is merely a matter of opinion, so don't try to shove yours down people's throats. If people want to say he's her brother, fine. If they want to say he's her father, fine.

I'm perfectly fine with him being her brother, I just do have an opinion, of which I'm not trying to shove on anyone, so please don't accuse me of so just because that's what you believe you're seeing.

Remember that the Cutie Mark Crusaders are filly aged and have adult siblings (Rarity, Applejack), so either option is still viable.

I adore the sibling relationships in this show; Dash and Scootaloo's surrogate relationship is a staple of the show for me, and AJ/Apple Bloom and Rarity/Sweetie are cute, too, as is Armor and Twilight. In the grand scheme, I don't care if it's brother or father. I just would really like Dave Polsky to respond with an answer, asap, because I simply want to know if it's one or the other, so that there is no confusion, and no silly little debates like what we began to get into xP
