William and James had been hired by the mayor to investigate a small gang of horse thieves. Their investigation led them to a private owner's stable, "James, maybe it's better if you stay here in hiding while I go investigate," William said, but James didn't like the idea of his beloved infiltrating himself, "Will, I don't like this idea. What if you get caught?" said James with concern, and the blond man kissed James "That's why you'll have to be out here, so you can call for help," and then William headed for the barn.
After William found evidence that the stolen horses had been inside the stable, he didn't notice that the horse thieves were behind him and attacked him, but before William could scream they covered their mouths and took him away and started tying him up in a chair, "Damn you, let me go, my parthner will have called the police by now," William said before he was gagged, "Funny, your friend said the same thing," said one of the thieves, then carrying James all tied up and gagged.
