I grew up back east, and remember how utterly quiet it is on a snowy night, with the snow muffling all sounds, and you feel that nothing else matters.

I love the snow pix, I don't miss the winters at all. Nice to visit, especially around Christmas, but would never want to move back to it after living in FL and then CA.

I bet. It is just cold here in the winter but we don't have alligators so that's good but we have mountain lions which is probably worse
