Yet again another terrible title using puns in a horrific way... ok I should stop now.

Just wipping out another regular drawing before Christmas here.

What if before the sequel and onwards, Sonic (yee) had some friends to assist him from the get go? What if Sonic and Vector used to partner each other before they lead each their own? Why Vector? I may or may not have been inspired by Ohshima's concept artworks (you know, that “Sonic the hedgehog band“ that was cut and vanished from its mere existence? which I recall I somewhat made a fanart of this said idea that the manga tried to adapt www.deviantart.com/icam2k/art/… ) that continued to haunt me for years and somehow motivated me to draw these two together. After all, they're also my favourites (others being Dr. Eggman, Metal Sonic, Bark and Blaze). And it's probably because there's criminally less amount of fanart of Vector in his Classic days. His Modern design of course beats it in every way imaginable, but there's gotta be balance... a bit of love, you know?

Regardless, here they are. I can already imagine despite them being a bit same in terms of attitude, they would very argumentative against each other. No worries though, they help out and team up in case bad stuff gets cruel on them.

And by the way, can you guess the song they're listening to?
