Corruptor is an insidious creature. The Shadows are his lifeforce, and he is every bit as deadly as his ‘father’ Icarax. All Makuta have the ability to create Kraata, the solidified essence of them. Kraata were either used to create/pilot Rahkshi armor or infect masks to serve their respective Makuta. When Icarax isolated the Brotherhood, he greatly upgraded the Rahkshi, giving them enhanced armor, strength, power, and ferocity. But that’s not all he used his Kraata to do. Producing a very strong Shadow Kraata, Icarax mutated it to become a terrible aberration of life. That aberration became known as Corruptor. A Kraata that’s undergone severe mutation and augmentation, Corruptor is a fierce being. His purpose is to either corrupt others with pure Shadow to make them serve Lord Icarax or kill anyone foolish enough to resist. Corruptor made himself known during the Brotherhood’s hunt for the Toa. Revealing himself to a group of Toa leading a large party of Matoran out of the burning ruins of Artahka, Corruptor got his notorious reputation for savagery when he brutally mauled the heroes and the screaming Matoran. Between that appalling event and the fall of Nekrina, the Toa have shared stories of the wicked nightmare beast with four bladed tendrils where arms should be and the maw of some revolting parasitic monstrosity. Corruptor murdered scores of Toa, among his kills being Lesovikk, Krakua, Zaria, Orde, and even the great Helyrx. His list of kills also include Skakdi (his most famous battle was with Reidak), Steltians (Sidorak being one of them when he attempted to lead the Visorak to overthrow Lord Icarax), the Bahrag (as to not have to worry about a potential Bohrok assault), Zyglak, and several Dark Hunters. Corruptor’s ferocity is even feared within the ranks of the Brotherhood, and with good reason.

Personality: Corruptor, though a sentient creature, has the savagery of a Rahi. He tends to tear his victims apart while screeching (a frightening sound indeed). His personality leans to that of a wild beast, though he has the brains to not fall into fans and traps. Being the ‘son’ of Lord Icarax, he harbors a deep-rooted disgust for anything that opposes his ‘father’. Corruptor will mercilessly hunt anyone that opposes the Brotherhood down with the resolve that matches even Shadowbolt’s. Corruptor, as is his purpose, usually enjoys turning people to the side of the Shadows. Though he has little patience for “persistent meat”, and anyone who resists too much is to be maimed and killed. Corruptor has even been known to feast on the remains, a very disturbing trait of his.

Weapons/Abilities: Imagine the drive and intelligence of a sentient being mixed with the ruthlessness and ferocity of a wild animal. Corruptor is a very terrifying foe to go up against. He will chase you down, tear apart your limbs, and absolutely maul you until you breathe no more. Corruptor doesn’t care what the odds are, if you won’t succumb to the Shadows, he’ll make sure you won’t live to enjoy the freedom.
- Corruption Tendrils: Corruptor sports four long tendrils instead of arms. These tendrils are armored and have wicked scythe-like blades at the end. These blades can inject corruptive Shadow energy into others that can quickly convert them into loyal minions of Icarax. If that doesn’t work, Corruptor can use these blades to hack and slash his enemies.
- Predator Senses: Corruptor has heightened senses in all respects, including an ability to pick up and follow traces of elemental energy
- Maw: Corruptor has been known to bite, his teeth containing a very potent toxin that can kill a Toa in an hour
