I finally decided to redraw that old OC of mine, Trade Wind. The original was from back when I had no idea how to do anything with vectors, it was an abomination, so much so that I couldn't rest until I deleted it XDI was too fond of the character, however, to leave him gone, so, here we go, redrawn with proper proportions, a more interesting pose, and I also swapped his gender. I think he makes a better she.
Anyway, she works for Cloudsdale, as a contract navigator for the large cargo airships that run all over Equestria and abroad. She makes sure that all the shipments of sugar, balloons, confectioneries, soda pop, weather, and other commodities make it to their destination safe and sound.
Her cutie mark is a sextant, which obviously betrays a talent for navigation. ^^

What do you think of a really light Irish accent?
I know it sounds random, but she's a sky sailor, so I want to have some sort of fluke with her accent, and I'm not sure what to do for sailors; she just doesn't come off that way.
But, very light touch of Irish seems like it'd be adorable on her, esp. since she's a little bit different/aloof, ya'know?

This is all there is at the moment, though I do have a few ideas about her character. I had intended to use her in my fic, Resistance, but I haven't gotten around to writing more of that lately. Most because of how depressing it was >.>
A couple things to know about Trade Wind- She's a one trick pony. She may be one of the best navigators you'll ever meet, she'll never get lost, but she has a hard time doing just about anything else except for flying. And maybe breathing. And she's been known to fail spectacularly, so don't have her cook, paint, care for animals, etc... it won't end up well. XD
Also, she's a bit aloof. Not quite as aloof as say Rainbow Dash, that takes a special sort of pony, but still up there with her head in the clouds all the time, and frequent delusions of grandeur.
If you want anymore than that, just let me know and I'll write it up real quick. ^w^

Lol, yeah, I have a point of not writing anything that's through-and-through depressing. Bad stuff happens, characters may be in situations that seem utterly hopeless and in the bottom of the pits of despair, but I don't believe in through-and-through sad endings. I like to think my bodycount is relatively low, especially compared to someone like Shakespeare

Hmm. Aloof may not have a been a great choice of words. I still don't have a great feel for what that word even means; I've hardly ever even heard it
But, I take that as she's not very interested in things other than her dreams of grandeur, and like most writers like myself, doesn't pay attention the whole time
