Description

This character has been floating around in my head vaguely for a long time now... and a few days ago inspiration struck late at night, as it usually does!

So here she is. As usual, the inspiration for a name hasn't come yet. But I do have a FEELING that it's supposed to start with an "M" and be long and elegant and somewhat ominous and toxic sounding. (I have no idea how I'm going to find such a name, but I'm up for suggestions xD)

She's a mysterious little critter... she's mostly some sort of black fox (from the same weird genetic-crazy world that Nilla, Sarcelle and Vahn are from) and she ALWAYS wears that mask. I've been wanting to use that mask in a character design for a longgg time. It's inspired by a cat mask that my friend got me from Venice. (but the ears weren't like that)
I had a little trouble showing it here, but her ears have zippers on them that she can open and close as she pleases... so if she gets annoyed with someone, she can just ZIPPPPP and shut off the sound, hahaa. But whenever she goes to sleep, she always keeps one of her ears at least partially open just to be safe.
The butterfly marking on her back is supposed to look somewhat like a monarch. She has a bit of monarch butterfly DNA, and thus her diet consists entirely of milkweed- she's resistant to the toxin. (milkweed is the principle diet of monarch butterflies, and causes them to have an outside "toxic coating" so that predators won't eat them... or will have a very bad stomach ache if they do.)
So... if you were planning to eat her, you should probably think again?! xDDD

HUMMM. And the markings on her tail were basically taken from this character that I never really did anything with. [link] She just never worked right for me, so I recycled swirly markings, the one part I really liked about her.

OKAY WELL THAT'S MORE INFO THAN YOU EVER NEEDED TO KNOW.

I'm working on like... at *least* 5 other things at once right now. 8D
