Description I hurt myself today, to see if I still feel. I focus on the pain - the only thing that’s real nowadays. The needle tears a hole in my skin, and I feel the old familiar sting. These feelings… I try to kill it all away… But I remember everything. What have I become? My sweetest friend… My precious boy… My troubled leader. Everyone I know goes away in the end. And you… You could have it all. My empire of dirt. But I will let you down. I will only make you hurt. I wear this crown of thorns upon my liars chair, full of broken thoughts I cannot repair. Eventually, beneath the stains of time, the feelings disappear. You are someone else now… and I am still right here. If I could start again, a million miles away… I would keep myself from falling. I would find a way.

Ash Creek members! You are invited to draw your characters floating in zero gravity! This will be a Group collaboration. I'll gather everyone's pictures and edit them all into one.

Your character must be depicted floating in zero gravity. They can be in any pose you like, and they can be awake or asleep or happy or sad or fighting or posing or upsidedown - whatever you like. The size is up to you, too. I won't be editing the size of your character (unless it's ridiculously large or something). I'll edit them to fit better into the image, so be sure not to make your image to small. If you've done your picture on paper I'll edit out the background for you if you're unable to do it.

When you're ready to contribute, just submit to the Group gallery, in the Assignments folder.

Here's tips on how to make your picture look 'soft' like mine, if you want! Keep in mind these steps are for Photoshop full version, and I have no idea how to do it in any other program or if Photoshop Elements has the options at all. s: If you want, you can send the PSD to me and I'll do it for you.

1.) I'm assuming your picture is completely digital and you have your lineart on its own separate layer. Duplicate it. Put this over top of your original lineart layer.
2.) Make sure the duplicated lineart layer is selected. In your menu bar, go to Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur, and fiddle with it a bit until you like how it looks. Hit OK. For this picture I put my Radius to 3.0 pixels.
3.) You can also fiddle with the Opacity level of that layer (the option is found near the top of your Layers window, right beside where it says 'normal') until you like how it looks. For this picture I set the Opacity to 80%.
4.) Remember to save your picture as a .PNG - this will save transparencies. Also, you might as well save all your future work as .PNG, because it's better quality than .JPEG, which is good for saving on disk/server space because it compresses the file more.
