Entry- In the past, it was thought that they hung around those with little time left in this world so that they'd be able to take the spirit for themselves. Legend has it that if a Die-aye points is long middle finger at someone, then that person is cursed to an early grave, and the only way to rid themselves of the curse would be to kill the Die-aye the cursed them. This superstition has lead to this pokemon being hunted to near extinction in the past. In all actuality they're a rather reclusive and peaceful pokemon.
