This is really sweet, and I like how you made it sort of a narrative. 'Quest for the holy cucumber'. I think the fact that the cucumber is the only thing with color sort of underlines how focused she is on it and how sweet it is to get it. It's wonderful how easy pets are to please.

I've had a black hamster to! But she turned brown when she got old. And I never managed to take any good photos of her because she was allways on her way somewhere. And she liked to grab my sleeve with her hindpaws and hang like a monkey down from my arm that way. Silly little thing

That's one sweet picture. I like the progression in there. And desaturing everything except the cucumber (agurk, hahaha) was, of course, a simple yet brilliant idea. What did Asdis say when she saw this (except munching on her cucumber)? I guess she must have been very flattered by this affectionate portrayal of a little hamsters hunger.
