It's been some time since I've posted anything. And i just did this today... took me about 4 hours.If it seems familiar to anyone its because my reference picture was The Eye of a Cullen by ShinriUchiha69. It was so beautiful I couldn't resist sketching it. (:
Though it doesn't really have the same effect as the reference picture... The original looks more menacing, mine just looks contemplative. Haha. Well I tried.

As a standalone it's very beautiful - again, I still can't/haven't attempted shading like that (therefore I still can't shade for nuts) So you've done a very nice job overall!
Compared to the original though, I'd say the iris needs a bit more of that mysterious highlight/shine that was present in the photo. You are attempting a vampire's eye after all x)
Otherwise, very very pretty and realistic.
