x So I decide to use this picture for the Emotions Art Contest[link ]
x Emotion portraying: Loneliness (cause I am alone xD)
x The story is already on the top of the description xD
Well this is a more detailed one, in 3rd point of view, in case you don't understand what am I trying to mean/don't know MapleStory.

She is a magician who has just became a priest sucessfully. Her friend, who is a Dark Knight has a summon - Beholder. Now she is standing below the dark, lifeless sky and the Beholder is just beside her, being the only light source. However she is hoping to see the Dark Knight himself instead of the cute summon. ><'''''

At first she was holding a cake(??) and this is the picture made for Valentine. But I think a lot of people will do so, that's why I decided to draw something special ><''
Actually this is me in my dream outfit... >< I draw the timeless clothes because I really love them(but I don't decide to add my LUK anymore ). Also, the staff and earrings are the only actual things I am wearing in game xDD

And I choose the beholder because...

Actually I draw the wings in three layers using white colour. I just make the border thicker and the inner part thinner and it ended up like this >w<

One more thing. If the inner lines doesn't turn out smooth, just smudge/blur them.
You can try it out, it is fun! xDD

In my opinion, yes. xD But in that case, maybe you can try using light background and dark wings.

No you can try using white paper too xDD Just make the wings black. I think it will turn up nice too^^

Her ribcage should come out past her arms to match with her head. In no way am I saying this is bad!

It's something we all learn in due time.
I have been doing art for many years and I am still trying to perfect my own proportions.
No one can become perfect just by doing it once, it takes a very determined mind to keep going over and over again.
I think you have that you have what it takes! There is no shame in practicing!

Oh, this is really wonderful!

I could instantly understand that the emotion you were portraying was loneliness- the expression on the girl's face is just perfect! It does such a nice job of subtly portraying the emotion without going into too much intensity- it's really wonderfully done ;D The character herself is really beautiful, I really love the way you drew out her design! The colors in particular really caught my eye- the way you work with such beautiful and soft blends is really amazing! I love the highlights that you so naturally are able to capture in your work! And the designs that you incorporated into her clothing were added in perfectly as well- they're so intricate and wonderful!

Great job on her figure, posing and everything else ;D I really love the soft flow of her hair, and the wings are really gorgeous! I love how soft they appear! And the contrast between the black in the background and the white of her wings is especially nice- it really makes the colors on the character pop! The beholder looks great! (I really love its little wing and the soft glow around it!) and the dark background does such a nice job of portraying the lonely atmosphere! It almost seems like a void~ Which makes it very effective *w* You did such an awesome job with this; thank you so much for entering~! The best of luck to you!
