I'm done with all 48 graphic novels. You're upset about not getting into Yu-Gi-Oh sooner? You and me both. When I was younger, I was afraid of Yu-Gi-Oh when it ran on television, so I never watched it. When I finally got into it at the start of High School, people thought it was kiddy, and I could only find groups of fans on the Internet. A friend of mine still collected the cards, which was good. (When I gave away my cards for the first time, he said he got a full Exodia set from me. Oh, why!)

It's sad that Kaiba isn't involved in the Millennium saga. He only makes an appearance on the next to last panel in the 7th volume. He also makes an appearance in Yu-Gi-Oh R. His first appearance was in the 3rd or 4th volume I believe? That's why I prefer the anime better. There are more Kaiba appearances in the Virtual World sagas (Game and Noah), Waking the Dragons, KC Grand Prix, and Millennium World. The Millennium World saga and KC Grand Prix and animated REALLY bad, though, so...  I don't know.
