I'd like to say this is an exaggeration.It's not. At all.
Yes, my dad was in a weight lifting competition and yes, he did in fact win first place for his weight and age group. I recounted the events to my boyfriend, who promptly started sobbing in fear.
Ok, that's a little bit of an exaggeration. We were both laughing pretty hard over the absolute ridiculousness of our romantic life. But he did in fact tell me he was laughing/dry sobbing because now he's thoroughly convinced my dad will snap his head open like a walnut.
Keep SeekerPsycho in your thoughts, as there are many strives he must overcome in his journey to be my loyal companion.

Alas, it seems that all romances are fought with such perils! My mate's mother was... well she was the most bad ass woman I ever met under 5'6 and she hated my guts for years.
