Madrian Alisia Storm ("Mad") is a major antagonist and representative of Coven Corp for the Clockwork Tower story: seeing as she is one of two "brute powered" female characters in the story I wanted to give her a body type noticeably different from Roah. Though she might end up being *ahem* bigger in the final design.
Depending on how large I can make her boobs without going into an absurd giggle fit every time I draw her.

I like the design differences between she and Roah, particularly in the wardrobe department. All of Roah's stuff tends to be much more practical and less fashion oriented, but Madrian's obviously got a very large amount of...flair.

If I really simplified the templates that Roah and Mad have throughout all realities; Roahs are scrappy heroes, while Madrians are dirty cops.

So Madrian gets external authority for her smackdowns by various means, whereas Roah brings the smackdown from an internal authority. Is this a commentary on police brutality?

She's already pretty stacked. If you make them any bigger, you might have to tone down the muscle tone to keep it believable.

Rather than believability (which has no place in character design when compared to function anyways) I just feel she A) wouldn't be as attractive, and B) would be difficult to take seriously as a character.

Unfortunately the two get superimposed too often. Deviating too far from what is realistic can ruin suspension of belief if you do it out of context, and style can play a huge factor in that. Outrageous boobage just doesn't work in my style, largely because of the artist drawing it: hips and necklines are more fun for me to draw than giant busts.

Maybe another contrast between them is that Roah's more of a biker-type dresser and Mad's more into gothic dark queen style.

Not really, there is a limit to how large I will go on a physically active character before it just seems absurd to me. Drawing them larger for other people is one thing, but for my own concepts it's hard to make it work.
