While it's pretty easy to capture my heart with POTC related fanart, it's pretty hard to impress me with detailed portraits of Davy Jones. Well done with all those fine details on his tentacles and with the overall texture of his skin! I think that it can be really difficult to do that without adding color, but you've achieved it really well here in black and white.

Anatomically, everything looks really good: your proportions are highly accurate and you've done a good job with all those crazy tentacles! Overall, I like the shading as well, but I feel like there is a lack of really bright highlights. With all the shadows created by the various lines and shapes in his face, his hat, etc. I think it's easy for the highlights to sort of disappear. Maybe you could take a small eraser or white ink and touch some up just to make it so that they stand out agains those really dark blacks?

Keep up the great work! You clearly have talent for traditional portraits

Great piece of pencil art. This is quite well done. However, it does appear as though some of the soft pencil lines are blurring in some areas. I also feel that his hat should be a little darker toned in relation to the skin.
