Description #104 Cubone

It always wears the skull of its dead mother, so no one has any idea what its hidden face looks like. It pines for the mother it will never see again. Seeing a likeness of its mother in the full moon, it cries. The stains on the skull it wears are from its tears.

This interpretation of Cubone is based on it's likeness to a baby Kangaskhan and the theory that Cubone is the result of the reliant baby Khangaskhan's mother dying, the attached baby wears it's mothers skull and weeps from the loneliness it has been left. Kangaskhan becomes another pokemon, the co-dependent baby pokemon is forced to fend for itself and will undertake an evolution into Marowak through it's overcoming of it's sorrow.

Hmmm... I never noticed that likeness before... it's a very interesting idea on that scale...
Regardless though, I love the textures you used here. The fur is so real, as well as the bones and tears. I simply am fascinated by it!
