>Blatant Racism

>Blatant Death Threats
>Being Highly Annoying
>Being Unapproachable and Rude
>the person not respecting you or your opinions
>the person not replying after a certain amount of time (we're talking about 30 Days, a few weeks or even years)
>Scammers
>Spammers
>for former acquaintances you don't wish to deal with anymore (thank you for reminding me of that)
there are many invalid reasons to block someone
>having a different opinion than yours
>Just because
>they gave you Llamas/Cakes/Points/Core Membership/Comments/Faves
>because you can't control yourself in a conversation
>you were the one disrespectful not them
>throwing a shit-fit then blocking for no reason
>false judgement off of what others say
>False judgement of content/stamps

Most people I have blocked are trolls, spammers, and the users who got call-out. I have been blocked by someone because my opinion. I also got blocked only because I unwatched someone.

someone blocked me about an hour after i visited their profile lmao. later i found out it was because i had favourited art by someone they don't like (and they accused that person they dont like of "art style theft" a while back apparently)

I think a majority of the users who block me are users I do not recognize. The only time I have pre-blocked on this account was a user who posted a journal advocating violence against people who give out llama badges.

I usually block people so I don't see their content in MMD tag on dA.
This type of people never watch me anyway, so I don't feel bad for hiding their deviations this way.

Thankfully to that strong, valid argument, I'm blocked by people I've never seen in my life and only found it out after random visiting their profiles. I mean I think that's the reason they blocked me. I'll never know because I didn't talk to them :/

I've been blocked for having certain stamps on my profile,
even by people I haven't even fully engaged with in a conversation,
I've gotten into an argument with 2 people to which led to a huge
dispute where they falsely accused me of being a Transphobic Racist.
When I clearly had some stamps supporting Transgenders, I just never
agreed with the non-binary.

The only reason i ever block someone is if they are annoying, spam/harass me, or i feel like they are going to do harass me/are a danger to me.

It just depends if they have actually done it to you yet,
I wouldn't just block them right off the bat, without warning,
if they're deemed approachable it should be fine, if not, then
sure, block them.
