Okay so this literaly made mi ass hurt for being sitting for so many hours painting it. Not to mention my PC's ass too because my poor 4gb Ram where working at 90% making everything lag like hell. By the way, i have to point that the 3 fireworks on the imagen are not painted, i just used photos to create them, because, i were lazy as f*ck to draw each spark lol, besides, the deadline was today.Anyway, this is for "Anime Friends", an anime con in Brasil ([link]
For the people who's waiting for their commissions to be done, sorry for making you wait sooo much but i'm going as fast as i can x_x

The amazing thing is.. even though you did just that, I just realised how to recreate the effects in Photoshop/Illustrator... or at least I have an idea: using the zoom blur and others.

That's a good idea, zoom blur and some outer glow effects
But i was like "oh fuck it" then used the photos because it was quicker (i was sooo tired after painting all the other crap).

Yeah, it's just one of those thousands of niche skills an artist comes across. If it hasn't been done before, then it's probably not worth figuring out when you're in a pinch ~! You did the right thing!

Although, I don't run into any issues with it, even with games.

I don't have any problems with games either. The only thing that kills my ram is when i'm working with some canvas at 4500x6500 pixels in Photoshop or Paint Tool SAI, they take like 2.5 gb of ram i think, and Firefox takes nearly 1gb too... -__-

I use a 5000x5000 canvas, in VirtualBox too
So long as I don't have too many other programs running, most of the time it's fine.
