Thanks. I'm adding the frog (sheath thing) soonish, gonna distress the leather a bit. Scuff the fuck out of it, should all look pretty awesome when its done.

That will be the exciting bit where it all comes alive. Weathering costumes I think makes them a lot more believable.

I see a lot of very clean white Assassins. It bugs me. i muddied up and faded my tunics a little but its a slow process, how do you weather fabrics? i kick mine around in the mud. FUN! I'm also going for this mix-matched leather look. ALL the leather parts are varying degrees of colour brown-black and worn. I think it adds realism. as if his outfit would ever be THAT uniform. (END GAY RANT)

Same, there is some really nice costumes that have been made but they don't look worn in and takes away a little from the realism of it. I use a variety of methods, usually paint and paintbrushes with paper towel and mottle it where I think it should go. Yea the mix matched leather is a good idea!

The most noticable bit is the sheath is a much darker brown than the belt. it sort of matches the ingame rig so it doesn't bug me too much. but i go with that those things break all the time. Sheaths never match baldrics/belts.

I know the feeling... I'm also sewing all the leather parts by hand. in the summer, I was almost crying every time I was washing hands or bathing or washing hair, because the soap would hurt so much when it got into the small wounds on the tips of my fingers... o_o Though I'm pretty sure your belt was a lot tougher to make than the parts I'm making

I had to use push pins to make every individual hole along the three layers of leather and then i put all the threading through the punches. and yeah, i looked like some kind of thumb wrestling champion.

iv put on weight since i tried it first when i was about 14.

Aww, I'm sure you can do it! 

and you can go on a diet I lost 3 kg from changing the soda I drink xD went from coca cola to faxe kondi free... if you want to lose weight really fast, go on a diet that eats 1000 kilocalories or less per day... that's pretty much the only advice I have.... oh if you want to make cosplay while being a bit "healthier", then you can do the lazy cosplayer. if you feel hungry, you can take one piece of bread and drink lots of soda(preferably faxe kondi free.. no calories lol) or water or whatever XD I do that when it's close to a convention, and then I get a tiny bit more into shape (also, the lazy cosplayer requires that you keep yourself busy, so you eat as little as possible)

... yeah, I have some weird diets xD

but it's worse to be a fat female assassin -.-'' you get a lot of shit thrown in your face from a lot of the guys ._.'' and you get called disgusting and will be told to get a life... though if you look too decent, you'll get all question... and it's all kinds of questions that you only know the answer to if you google it (for a lot of hours) XD like "How many hairs does Ezio have on his head..?????" and you just stand there.... "lol wut"

Well, as a fellow female, I can quite easily spot the fake geeks XD 

but it's gotten a little out of hand on the judging them before knowing them ... a comment that I got while wearing my ezio inspired hoodie at j-popcon in spring was "OMG IT'S SO AWESOME YOU DARE COSPLAYING FROM AC!!!"... and then she hugged me and left... "dare".... I "dare".... WTF?? It can't be true that females are scared of cosplaying from video games and other fandoms with many male fans. =_=''

I had to stop after I moved school for the second time.... XD my teacher thought my family and I was crazy and I got into a shitload of trouble with the municipality, and blah blah, I could pick between crying in a corner pitying myself, or pick my own fat ass up and move on, blah blah XD

Life sucks, I learned to deal with it.

(I didn't fit in because I didn't give a shit about pink dresses and make up. I played with lego and beat up anyone who bothered me and my friends when we played duel monster ... Those were the sweet old days)
