I dunno but something in this picture reminds me about Rikku from FFX and X-2. Perhaps her face is the most rikkuish and there is something same about the hair allthough the concept is very different. Very good job. Excellent I say! Excellent!

I think its because of how her face is shaped. Its long and thin, not in a bad way, but I think that might have been what caused her to look old with the lifted cheeks. Dont get discouraged ok? Maybe try the same thing with a wider face and see if the result is different.

You're the first person to ask. I thought no one ever would. Anyhow, yes I do use photoshop mostly to whiten the background, looking at your gallery I'd say that you do that too. I also use it to intensify highlights.
However I'd say my scanner is pretty good, and with the few scanning tricks I've learned through using it so much, it's even better.
