Idylla was born in 1893, currently she's 128 years old. She was captured by the Umbrella Corporation (Umbrella Pharmaceuticals) in 1925 for their new experiments hidden behind the so called "cure" for many human diseases. In 2 years of using her as a lab rat they injected her with their new BIO weapon they've been working on and perfecting for a very long time. The experiment was a success as her DNA was in perfect synchronization with the new virus. They used her as a super soldier, a Bio-Organic Weapon - B.O.W, for many years and were very successful. They wiped her memory, they changed her identity and brain washed her towards their own needs. When she got enraged, she'd transform into a more advanced version of herself, her skin covered in bio-mass.

In time, she tried to control it but to no avail. In 1998, it was the first time she met Chris Redfield, during one of her missions. She showed no emotions and was ruthless while fighting him, although she never wanted to harm him. Never knowing why, Idylla continued on her journey, working for Umbrella while Chris was adamant to discover her true identity. 2005 was the year when he met her again in Finland and was able to have a small conversation regarding who she really is. The shock which came with the truth stunned her, and somehow managed to regain a bit of her memories. From this point she was more of an ally than an enemy to Chris and his team, although she never directly interacted with any of them. 2013 was the year she finally made contact with and opened up to Chris and they became closer. They became partners and best friends.

He managed to find a solution to Idylla's rage problem by holding her close to his heart. The beating calmed her down and she felt his warmth and safety, no longer lonely and angry. All these years she was treated like a monster so this was new to her, so she used to cling to Chris's chest quite often. In 2017 they became lovers and continued this till 2021 when she got captured again.
