Little side-project I did. The dress is made of a sheer damask fabric (leftovers from my livingroom curtains), lined in black cotton. The corset with a peplum is made of faux-suede and is actually boned. The thinger around the neck is a collar made of the same faux-suede, and the little hat is made of black cotton, with a sparkly ribbon on it, some faux-leaves and black ostrich feathers.I just bought an orange marabou to go with it, and I'm on the hunt for a perfect orange wig and thigh-high socks. yesssssss

Wow! This looks awesome! And I love the pattern of the damask. How long did it take you to make? I'm planning on doing a semi-similar project for Halloween but I'm only just starting today. lol. Yay procrastination!

I put plastic boning inside. I don't know how to do steel boning yet and figured it wasn't quite necessary.

That is going be tremendously cute. Very nice! An orange wig would be the best, but I bet it's hard to find... I just found a beautiful pink wig, though

I found a few orange wigs on eBay!! And one with super long hair is the same price as short hair, so I think I will buy the really long hair, and chop it up to make a funkier hairstyle .
