Oh yes, can definitely see Artemis going grey early. (Actually, wasn't that canon?? I feel like there was something in The Atlantis Complex about there being a 'streak of grey' from his temple. But, maybe it was just snow, and Holly thought it looked like a grey streak. x3 I seriously need to listen to these books again.) Either way, you definitely make it look so good. c:
Side note: I love Artemis's clothes here. We're used to seeing him in the standard suit set, with the white shirt and black pants and suit-jacket, but the dark short with the kind of steel grey tie just looks so nice. (And the shading looks beautiful, as always.)

Yeah, it works together amazingly, I love it. (I also am loving the kind of slate-gray background with the faded water-color-esque edges, I think that really adds something to the piece, too. It gives it an atmosphere it wouldn't have with just a white background, and brings out the gray of his hair even more. What kind of brush did you use for that? [You'll have to remind me again what program you use. x3]) Lol, I see what you mean about the dark clothes, that's probably why I like them so much. XD!

I can't remember what brush I used, but it was probably one of the raggedy tilted square ones with the pen pressure turned on. I use Photoshop CS.

Thanks, I was just curious, hehe. (Oh right, I think I know which ones you mean. I've been trying to get in the habit of trying out some other brushes, instead of just defaulting to the plain one all the time. x3)

I default to the plain one a lot too, but a lot of other artists do this too, and to great effect!

You know he would make it look absolutely dapper as heck. I mean, you know, after a moment of distress and utter indigence at the premature aging.

I'm not sure he would be upset. People would definitely take him more seriously.

I agree you genius; it makes sense for him to grey a little early (he probably aged like ten years with all the stress, despite his 'rebirth' in the final novel haha) and once he accept it, stops dying it if he ever does, he would DEFINITELY use it to his advantage. Ugh, I melt upon seeing your sleek and alluring style, especially when it comes to your head canons of AF. Love it!

NO.
I wondered if I should make the grey more prominent in his hair, but I didn't want to overdo it.
