I love My Hero Academia...so freaking much. That being said, I don't think I'll ever draw someone as cool as Stain is. This guy made me excited to draw, and I really wanted to do him justice. Took me much longer than usual to compile references and figure out a pose for him. Foreshortening is not usually my friend but it just had to be done to emphasize how cool he is. Really happy with how he turned out, and now I know how to draw him whenever I want from looking at all the little details for so long. I'm glad I was able to do this while the anime was airing his arc, because there's just so much to him that needs to be appreciated.Related content

Ahhh yess!! Some fanart of him! I was going to do one myself. I'm so happy with how the anime handled the Stain ark. I love this, the pose is great and the foreshortening is perfectly fine. ^__^ The coloring is well done, I like the texture and details. I'm such a sucker for traditional pieces. <3

Yeeees! The anime did an amazing at adapting Stain's part of the story. And you are so nice, thank you so much! It took a while, but I'm really happy with this piece. I always have a lot of fun drawing MHA characters. Stain especially is such a fantastic character, and he has so many interesting details. That being said, you should totally draw him! I'd love to see it.

Yeah, he's really cool and has an interesting ideal amd belief. Have you read the spinoff My Hero Academia: Illegals? It's really good and shows more of Stain's background since it takes place like 2 years before. I recommend. And also your welcome, the drawing is fantastic and I probably will draw him soon. Thank you so much! I've gotten pretty good at using my watercolors as my go-to medium. And I spent a while trying to figure out how to draw him. I'm glad to see that as far as anatomy goes my improvement in life art has improved!

Urg, I was getting annoyed trying to figure out what position to put his arm at, so I maaaay have taken the easier route and put it behind his leg. Still works tho!

That's his right arm behind the leg. It's the one holding the sword that looks a bit unnatural.

Shit. Directions. Can't. I jumped to conclusions because that's the arm I struggled with. In that case with the other arm, I think it's already. It could always be better, sure, but it also feels like a pose he would do.

I just watched episode 30. I freaking love stain. Without his bandages he looks even more epic, in my opinion. And now we know that there is way more to his power than we got to see before. Episode 31 is also going to be about him and we get introduced to more villains, which is awesome. Im currently working on a huge project about my favourite students. Afterwards ill do my favourite villains. Sadly my project is going to take way longer because im stippling it.

That episode was so freaking hype, I'm still reeling from the impact it left on me. I feel like I've been waiting forever for this part of the series to be animated. I love all the characters in this series, but it's how amazing the villains are that really get to me. The preview got me excited to see the new characters that'll be introduced, since I already love them.
A huge project, you say? I can only imagine! The amount of cool and unique character designs in this series makes you really want to dive in and get art done. I'll be looking forward to it, no matter how long it takes!

Im buying the manga while Im watching the anime (not reading it yet, tho. I feel like its only spoiling me. I want the impact of the animation to really get to me). But i do want to support the mangakas and animators. I really hope and beg theyll continue the anime, even after episode 39. I cant imagine how miserable im going to feel, once the anime ended. Its like "what am i supposed to do now, with my life?"

I think the studio Bones mentioned that they were really enjoying adapting the series, so I can't imagine them stopping right when the series gets even better than it already is! I only have the first volume but I'm caught up to the manga and I plan on supporting the series as much as I can in the future. This is something I want to keep seeing on a weekly basis for years the come. Really, we're only just getting started here and it gets me super excited!
It'd be cool if they adapted the spinoff once that gets enough chapters, too.

Yeah, it's called Vigilante MHA: Illegals and it's a really good read that takes place a few years before Izuku's story. It shows you more of characters like Aizawa and Ingenium, which is cool.
