The flash back scenes in F.3.A.R always make me tear up. Paxton and Pointman looked to be really close and cared for each other when they were children. I’ve wanted to draw them together for a while now. Poor little Paxton was always being dragged away and having goodness knows what done to him. I like to imagine the young Pointman comforting his little brother. It’s the ‘Awwww!’ factor, sue me. >__>Related content

first one of this kind I've seen, since everyone seems to picture the two apart, but since both of them were the only children in the experiment and they spent so much time together, one would suppose they'd be really close.

This is a heartwarming picture. I love how it that captures that special naive and innocence bond between siblings.

I watched that scene and I could tell that they had that bond but when they tried to express that they were split apart by their father. Which made me made want to run into the tv and hopefully make it into the game to give those two a hug ^u^

It's so true. The trailer scenes jerked my heart and then playing through it I just knew those flashbacks would have me bawling.
It's actually this combined with the fact that they didn't know they were brothers, even if they were 'cell mates', and that they had no further contact and socialization could logically lead to any 'slashish' behavior.

And I totally agree with you there. To a large degree the taboo surrounding incest doesn't apply to them, not directly. Even they did slash it up, it still wouldn't be the most fucked up thing either of them had ever done. XD
