Description Caught napping in the vicinity of Fort Moonmoth, this Bosmer highwayman is in no state to offer resistance to a bonemold-clad Hlaalu swordsman. For a while the brigand has been preying upon travelers alongside the many crag-ridden foyadas of the left bank of Odai river until finally the lawman caught up with him. Now for the rest of his life he is to toil inside one of the myriad ebony mines of Vardenfell as a slave.
Trivia:
— His weapon is a heavy stick with a steel spike. This effective if crude armor piercing implement also doubles as one-handed club. Its historical analogs are "plançon à picot" and "Goedendag".
— The guardsman's armor is of the "Armun-An" type usually associated with Hlaalu.
— I am the first one to admit how consistently bad I am at depicting bonemold armor (always painting it having a metallic tint and all). Canonically bonemold is an emulsion of bone-meal and various native resins of both plant and animal origins (the intricacies are kept semi-secret I suppose). Stock bonemold is a matte substance of lighter hues ranging from yellow to brown. In theory it can acquire a dark metallic gloss through polishing and 'case hardening' (basically baking an encapsulating layer of other material into it).
