Description
Created this piece for the Mass Effect forums, and eventually used it as a Game of the Week wallpaper for 360Style.Net.In the year 2148, explorers on Mars discovered the remains of an ancient spacefaring civilization. In the decades that followed, these mysterious artifacts revealed startling new technologies, enabling travel to the furthest stars. The basis for this incredible technology was a force that controlled the very fabric of space and time. They called it the greatest discovery in human history. The civilizations of the galaxy call it... MASS EFFECT.
Edit: As I've mentioned in the comments, this piece borrowed heavily from EVE Online, in which I added several additional aspects, layers, renders, etc.

Nice wallpaper, but I recognize an EVE online wallpaper base when I see one! Especially when you're a pirate and like to gank those transport ships. Overall very well done, and definitely on my list of wallpapers to use

EVE greatly influenced this piece. Partly why I decided to use a lot of refrence material from it. It fit the Mass Effect universe perfectly.

Very Mass Effect in nature. Beautiful, haunting, majestic, but seems so open and full of adventure. Its good.
