My release for the Conky & Emerald featured in this shot: [link]A minimal and aesthetic emerald & conky theme
Works well with any GTK theme with a dark gray bg color. In the screenshot linked above, I used "Spacedust". I used [link] as a "template" for the emerald theme.

your update on the file has it all screwy. the headers in the file are right but something in the stdin (standard input) part of the file is broken.

rename it to a .tar.gz file and extract. double click the .emerald file. place the remove the underscore in front of the conkyrc file and put it in ~. you do have conky and emerald, i presume.
