A really interesting photo. It is something like a village you can see..well I think it is a village.
But I am not sure about this. Anyways, What I do like is the way you captured the sun. It really appears to be like a great,shining fireball over the earth.
It also shows a great contrast to the dark ground, though there is a brighter part on the ground which fits really well in this picture.
Maybe, but only maybe you could have tried to remove the poles, so they wouldn't divide the picture in two pieces. But maybe you wanted to have it like this to keept the atmosphere natural which is also really nice :3

(This is my first time critiquing so please bear with me)
First off, this piece really catches the eye because of the exquisite blue colours in the sky. This is a great shot, it really captures the clouds and how they're arranged across the sky, as well as their shadows and hilights and little details- it's real eye-candy. The sun provides a good center to the piece; your eyes are drawn to it and it's the first single thing you look at before you take in the clouds and finally the ground. The only problem is it's a little too bright and the glare is not very soft on the eyes.
The ground could be seen as good or bad- because of the angle and direction of the camera when this was taken, the objects on the ground are dark and hard to see. Where it's a silhouette against the sky I think it looks good, very striking and vivid, and the darkness is a nice contrast with the bright sky. But in other areas such as the bottom right corner it's a bit of a muddle, and hard to distinguish all the different shapes, detracting slightly from the beauty and clarity of the sky.
The sand and water on the beach look very good, you can make out their texture and the reflections in the sun are very effective, adding balance in the picture rather than it being all bright on one side and dark on the other.
So I think the picture would look better with an almost empty, clean beach with maybe a few dark shapes against the sky but there's not much you can do about it, and impressive considering you took it from a moving van.
