Fan art of Eileen the Crow from Bloodborne.Consider this my love letter to the game that ruined me for most other franchises. Played when it came out, splurged on other souls-games and now I'll be waiting for Sekiro. It's a good thing I don't have many games to play though, all the more time to improve!
First off I simply wanted to portray Eileen, but in the process she ended up looking more and more like an enemy. Perhaps this is Eileen, turned blood-drunk by the hunt.

I've actually borrowed Nioh from library some time ago. I remember liking the combat, but unfortunately did not really getΒ it. I got stuck at Isle of demons with a big enemy demolishing me, haha! I could try it out again, it seems like a fine game.

It relies far more on stamina-management and timing than BB, especially when fighting against Yokai.

So cool!! I love how the warmth of the sun behind her makes the purples look cool and quite chilling- especially with how she's facing away from the light. The body language and silhouette are really confident and intimidating, too! Awesome!

Thank you - I am working on more creative posing so that's nice to hear! I started out with warm orange hues, slowly adding more (green, blue) as I went on. The purples were the last thing I added and it complemented the piece very nicely.Β

This is a fabulous piece; I love the warm colour scheme, and the attention to detail is outstanding. To think that you were concerned about whether you could do the franchise justice; if every piece of Bloodborne fan-art was of this quality, FROM Software might well be tempted into making a sequel!

Thank you very much, it did turn out much better than I anticipated. I am now actually tempted to make a bigger piece for the franchise with a proper background! Wouldn't we all love to see a Bloodborne sequel, haha! Thankfully the bits of Sekiro I've seen so far is looking fantastic!

Sekiro looks great. Whether it's a Bloodborne beater, time will tell - but even if it's not, it will be a great game in it's own right.
