Description
As you all might now Iisjah has two vampiric talents - one of them is form changing and the other is that he is in a state of half-life. Blood flows trough his veins (but Iisjahs body can't make it on its own), he can digest and feel pain. Even though it is useful most of the time there are situations that require him being dead as any other vampire.The situation portrayed above takes place when Iisjah (about 17 or 18 here) learned how to subdue his half-life by getting all his organ systems closed by his own will. It's not a nice, easy or quick process. Through their vampire connection, meditation and massaging techniques he learned during his life Sanet helps him to calm down and guide him through the process.
I love how this piece came out
Plus it shows the new and improved situation between Sanet and Iisjah nicely - how it should be from the beginning - without the unnecessary drama
One more thing - don't listen to anything *rejlan will say about this piece! xD

What an intersting story behind it, very unique. The anatomy is great and you really get a feel for what's going on in this. I also love how the two characters look vastly different when that's actually a hard thing to come upon here on dA. The atmosphere is great with the sky and how tall the grass is, making it seem like they're the only ones there.
In short: I love it XD

Well it's a practice and style issue I think - anime style is a bit harder to differentiate than any other and it's the most popular style on DA :3

Thank you :3 I wanted to contrast the pain Iisjah was experiencing at that moment with the calmness and Zen like exterior that Sanet is creating, guiding Iisjah through the process. So it made lots of sense
After the journal I did on Sanet I unblocked a creative spark for him in my mind I think xD So expect more art with Sanet in the future
