Description
The winter was really catching up, it wasn't hard to see that as the sun rises higher into the sky it doesn't warm the earth as it did just a couple weeks back. Simon picks up pace to keep himself warm. He could see the shore of Lake Carson a bit away in front of him, when he was intercepted by a group of mares.
They looked rough, as he perked his eyes forward in curiosity. They were covered in ice and snow, looking tired and...
Alone.
"Nasty storm out east." The bay mare warned him.
Simon lifted his head up to the sky, just to then notice the sparce high clouds remnants of a storm that must have hitted earlier that morning.
"Huh, well" He mumbled, drifting his attention back to the mares, tilting his head slighty to the side to look at them. "Thank you, for the warning. I'm headin' west, I think, at the moment." A small smirk towards the mares, noticing then ven more how one of them seemed to be out of it, looking in the distance like she was hoping for someone to look after them. "Where you going then? Are you all alone?"
He looked around, nothing.
He couldn't see or hear anybody else. Were they separated from their herd?
Maybe.
"You can come with me if you like" He added, a little sympathetic towards them. "Just going down towards the lake, there might be more horses aroun' there"
