Life happened.
I'm super sorry for how long it took me to draw this page.
I really hope it won't happen again, I wanna get places with this thing youknow~ Like Driftveil. And Victory Road. And places like that. That would be great.
I believe I wanted to say lotsa other things, but I'm reallyreally tired, so.. enjoy Team Plasma~?
Team Plasma is fun. Things happen, I get to draw fancy effects and Yume's on the ground again. What's not to love.Ohright. In case you forgot, Team Plasma's here because Colress told them to get the pig. For research purposes. Refer to page 28 for that lovely conversation~ I sleep now.

OHyeah bytheway, Milow (the Togekiss) will be considered Fairy-type for this comic. The addition of Fairy-types doesn't affect Yume's team or her battles (nothing I can't write around at least), so there's no issue there~ For now it's mostly for the interactions between Milow and the Noivern.

I didn't realize this before, but this is DARK! Like, Gates to Infinity on steroids dark!

I haven't played Gates to Infinity, but I guess it's kinda dark yeah? xD There's some crazy ass organisation running around.. and then a bunch of kids trying to fight them. I can't really imagine that going too smoothly

woohoo i read just now till this point and i must say great art, great ideas, great story
but i still have some things i don't like that much, just my opinion and only my thoughts, but i think you deserve to hear them
first i think her friends are the biggest douches in the world, i mean she has no idea of anything and they don't help her or give her tips or anything
second and this is purely personnel, i hate it when nuzlocker own pokemon that won't follow their orders, not even after a decent period of time, or which are not willingly to give their trainer a chance (btw the first point is here valid too, i mean why don't they tell her that she can release her friggin bird?)

For the first point.. well, I can't say you're wrong, because Nate and Hugh haven't really tried to teach Yume anything Pokemon-wise (in Nate's defense, he wasn't aware Yume was relatively serious about it, until right before they got attacked), but that's because I apparently failed to convey the image that they have given up on trying to get her interested in Pokemon a LONG time ago. And I guess that's my bad xD But the case is, if they would try to tell Yume anything, she'd forget it right away, because she simply doesn't care. Her motivation isn't in beating the gyms or getting better at Pokemon or anything; I doubt she still remembers fire and flying-types are good against bug-types (something Curtis told her before her battle with Burgh), because she didn't care about knowing the matchup so she would know how to beat the gym, she only cared about getting the gym done with, so she could move on . I also try to show this in the way Yume behaves around people that are talking about Pokemon; she's very , very interested~<3
For the second point.. I can't argue with opinion xD Not everyone's going to like everything, there's not much I can do about that~ Perhaps your opinion on her might change once you hear her side of the story (which won't really be too soon, I'm afraid..), or maybe not.. in that case I hope the rest of the cast will be able to entertain you anyway
For the releasing thing.. Yume told her bird to get lost, but she refused (page 28). In that case I don't think releasing would help either~

and i think it's important to share my thoughts with the artist, instead of just hating or not liking some things and not telling anyone about it
and i guess you are right, if someone is not willingly to learn, you kinda loose any motivation to try to teach them, which is definitely the case for yume
