I made this freeze ray because I felt it really said a lot about what the movie was all about. Gru could get awesome weapons of his own devious design, but it never really did anything good for him. It froze his life into a heartless person who just shot people to get what he wanted.Anyways, the gun is really cool to hold.
Made of cardboard cones, a tube and a paint bucket.

May I ask how big the cones are because I'm hoping to make this and I just bought some online, the biggest being 50cm (H) x 11.5cm (D)

I measured a spare one I had. It is 14 in high and 4 in diameter at the bottom. I hope that helps. Good luck!

What round part? The nozzle or the ammo gauge (oval like thing with light blue)

Its only a few cardboard cones and a clear paint bucket I got from the hobby store along with a metal cable from the hardware store. Other than that its just some other random craft parts.

sorry, no tutorial, I don't intend to make another one. It's essentially a clear paint bucket with two cardboard cones cut in an interesting way. The cable I got from Home Depot. The guy looked at me REALLY FUNNY when I told him I only wanted 1 foot of the cable haha....
