A huge prop made by LauraC and me. Built for a Wreck-It-Ralph skit at AOD 2013 in San Francisco.The skit took 'Best Construction' at the masquerade.
Completely collapsible - Front and back of car disconnect, spoiler, wheels, rear rims, 6 pipes all disconnect for easy transport. Has suspenders to keep it up while the rider walks around.
Made in a span of 3-4 weeks. It was a fun and complex build with many crazy steps. Most serendipitous was when we found the fabric for the purple and brown slurry at the same time. The fabric has a nice sparkle to it that was perfect for the car. Every star sprinkle was made and painted by hand. Wheels and pipes painted by hand. Final weight - ~13lbs HEAVY!

i think the candy around the wheels you used something like those noise makers that workΒ when you spin themΒ around fast in the air. surely felt for the drizzled icing and lots of painting for the detail.

I'm wanting to do a room this year for halloween at my univerity we put on for local kids. even a link to where "you already revealed your secrets" id love it if you shared. This is awesome. Could you tell me what materials you used for the wheels and body? What are the tubes used around the tires made of and did you paint them? Did you use a due cut machine for the stars am are they made of felt? And what is the headlight made of? I'd love to recreate this for my daughter. It's so amazing! You should be so proud.

I used lots and lots of layering and very particular color picking to get it to look right

Hiya, This was made as hobby art for show and not really for sale. It's made with a lot of labor so you're prolly better off making your own. Building it is a journey!
