No, not really. I just find it confusing and it kind of break's emotionnal attachment a bit on my end, is all. Cartoon or not. Kind of blurs the interpretation for me.
I'm pretty sure it's just human nature. I'm sure if I saw androgynous people and symbols on a dayly basis it wouldn't affect me at all.
