I don't think you have to repeat the keypad in the first page, especially since it's generally from the same angle. The door opening would be enough to suggest that it was linked to the keypad. The second page with all the details must be really cool if you manage to pull it off nicely and balanced.
I wasn't sure what was the hands doing in the 3rd page at first then I figured it to be typing. I think you should add in a monitor shot or change the angle so you can view both the hands and the monitor screen (or whatever device that may be used to display info). I don't understand at all what is in the panel below it.
The fourth page is where you wanted to show the android's awakening. I feel like it's a waste of space, since you established a mug shot in Page 2. Eyes cloed followed by eyes opened in two similar frames is enough in my opinion, and something else will have to be added into this page. Maybe a transition panel to link it to the next page?
Why don't you post this in OMU's Manga Workshop forum? I'm sure jr and Prof Az can help you a whole lot more with the panels than I could.

The monitor: How 'bout those holographic ones, which you type directly on? Perhaps too cliched already.
One idea for the transition panel can be an ariel view of the labroom/lab building. Sort of like the viewer is leaving the scene and goes to the next page. Currently, between the awakening and the splash page there might be a confusion as the prologue is suddenly interrupted.

1. The coming into being of something; the origin
since there is an android, i will take a wild stab in the dark and say it has something to do with the beginning of something that will last for centuries.
well anyway back to picture. nice layout gets all your thoughts across very well. i only have one suggestion, when you start on the pages themselves, be a bit more dynamic with the layout. by dynamic i mean vary the angles, the shapes of the panels and break some panels.
by break i mean have something within the panel extend out of the border, an example would be having sime wires and tubing break through the borders of the panel with the stasis chamber thingy or have shichio's head not completely in the boundaries in the second to last page.
remember boundaries were made to occasionally be broken.
okay that is all from me i hope i was some help.
