I love the details! the only thing I can think might be wrong with it is that the women's torso seems too thin. other than that, I'm stumped. nice work!

I hate to break it to ya but it does look more awkward. The angle of the previous one was actually still usable with some adjustments although not accurate. The problem in both versions is that both arms look flat without much foreshortening. As I said in the ref, the hand should be a bit bigger. This is one of those times when you have to force yourself to draw out of your comfort zone.

The hand looks better in this one but it's causing the arm to lack depth. A small correction is possible, I think you need to show more of the lower palm so that it covers more of the forearm and show that it is properly connected at the wrist at a proper angle. The lower line of the forearm should be a bit less inclined as well.

Another thing to look at is the folds near the elbow joint. If you show more folds/crumples it would enhance the feeling that the arm is raised.

Actually, I'm not at all in a comfortable zone because I'm not good at drawing this I suppose I'll have to draw the arm on a separate sheet to get the general idea on how I can do this. (Also, I'm about to erase a hole into my page >_> )

Thanks again for the insight.

Now that I zoomed out, it doesn't look too bad. It's as if I'm viewing it through a telephoto lense (which has a flattening effect on depth perception).
