just a quick sketch and colors for a concept mech. Its sort of a reboot of an old story.This is definitely a drastic step in a different direction for the story. Before the mechs were humanoid, but now I realize that its very cliche as well as hard to draw and come up with, especially if a person has to fit in it. So instead I did this, a two-piloted vertical tank. The first pilot is the driver and the second pilot controls the missile pods/attachments and heavy rail gun. the main pilot can use the arms to hold guns or do other tasks and the secondary pilot can open the top hatch and use the ant infantry gun mounted on top. These babies can fly with the large engines on the back.but they have a limited fuel source, so flying is mostly only used for getting in, and getting out of the mission. BUT some can be retrofitted with a large booster pack, allowing them to fly longer.

Also pilots are specifically tested to work well together and have to go through months of training to work well and trust each other.
